Last week’s ABSANZ Conference in Sydney, themed “Future-Proofing Biosafety: Adapting to a World of Disruption and Change,” made one thing unmistakably clear innovation in science isn’t on the horizon, it’s already here, and it’s accelerating rapidly.
From advancements in AI and automation to evolving containment technologies, the modern laboratory is undergoing a fundamental transformation. The lab of the future is no longer static it is flexible, data-driven, and inherently collaborative, designed to adapt as quickly as science itself evolves.
